Designed in 1926 and developed to resemble an English village, Windsor Farms was one of the city's first planned neighborhoods. Lots are of varying shapes and sizes and offer unique settings for homes. Open spaces and parks are located throughout the neighborhood including an expansive lawn in the center of the neighborhood that serves a church and playing field.
The neighborhood is also home to two of Richmond's most notable historic attractions: Virginia House and Agecroft Hall. Both are aged English manor houses that were physically transported to Richmond and are now open to the public.
